Doesn’t work

It just shows spinnig rainbow forever. I have tried this on iMac, MacMini and MacPro and it doesn’t work on any of them.

Changes to this amazing app - for the worse.

Sadly, this app has gone from 5 stars to 1. The first version of this app was truly remarkable. All the changes made to it have made it useless. I was such a big fan, and used it constantly. Now, I have removed it completely from my computer; since I don’t use it anymore. If only they would go back to its original format.

Doesn’t Work on El Capitan + No OS X Photos App Extension (yet ?)

The app doesn’t work at all on El Capitan… When it will it should also be compatible with the Photos App to be truly useful.

Problème El Capitan

ne fonctionne pas avec El Capitan, je suis un utilisateur de de Tonality ***** Noiseless ***** Snapheal ***** et FX Photo Studio Pro ***** qui fonctionne très très bien, mais Focus !!!!!! Merci de faire une mise a jour does not work with El Capitan, I am a user of Tonality ***** Noiseless ***** Snapheal ***** and FX Photo Studio Pro ***** that works very well, but Focus! !!!!! Thank you to an update

DOESNT WORK

Forget it, waste of Money. I wrote MacPhun and they are only interested in selling their new App CK and are not going to update Focus 2 for El Capitan. Apple should delete this from being offered!

Macphun does it again with Focus 2.0

I am amazed at the control this program gives me in selecting a specific region of a photo of bring into sharp focus. The pre-set areas are esy to work with, but the star - as far as I am concerned - has got to be the Custom brush settings. I’m still experimenting, but I really appreciate the ability to use my MBPro’s track pad to control the areas I want to emphasize. No wonder that Macphun Software currently has 6 programs in the top 10 photography apps on the Mac store.

Useful

Simple to use, great results.

Good but could be great...

Programs works very well but I would really appreciate a plugin for aperture etc so as to make this program more integrated with my photo apps.

Fantasticaly clever...

First, when I bought it, about 6 weeks ago, I was mad because it would not even start ! I had Mac OS X Lion 10.7.5, at the time. About 2 weeks ago, I upgraded to Mac OS X Mavericks 10.9.1. Now, it’s working flawlessly and it is very user-friendly. Also, when I bought it, there was a 30% sale. Now, I just can’t live without it… it is so useful ! Great bargain and great App !

Awesome

If you like the miniature effect from the tiny train landscape the buy this app I also use it for other stuff because its an easy and fast app to adjust the colour also Trust me 15 bucks is a good price

One-trick pony does trick well

App does a good job, with decent options and tools for de-focusing parts of images and applying vignetting (surrounding with darker area), to highlight a portion of an image. Some of the tools can be restrictive at times when shaping the highlighted area, but an option helps to overcome that. The app’s other main feature is one that applies a very heavy hand to saturation, vibrance, and contrast which, while it certainly makes some images pop, is IMO not usable for most serious photography. However this app’s one main trick is a good one.

Good single-purpose app

The app’s aim is to create effects of depth by blurring parts of the picture. It does it excellent. But only this. So if you are looking for a $8 (discount price!) that does only that, this app is for you.

very interesting and practical for certain effects

I installed the app a while ago and only use it occasionally, but when I do it’s fun to pull out the smallest things in a picture and let the rest sort of fade away. Definitely recommend.

Terrific for quick editing… particularly for portraits!

I love this little app - it’s perfect for a quick selective focus and I find that I use it mainly for portraits. I find myself using it at least twice a week, and for the price I feel that I’ve definitely picked a winner.

Worth Getting

On an early 2008 iMac with 4 GB RAM...This is a very quick and easy-to-use app that will definitely help you to bring focus to your photos. I use other MacPhun products: Snapheal, Intensify, FX Photo Studio, and ColorStrokes, and I can recommend their whole panoply of products. I look forward to purchasing the whole Pro set (when I can afford it), so that I can work with them within Apple’s Aperture. If you have Aperture, I would suggest that you buy the Pro set straight off, because you will want it when you see how easy these products are to use, and how much they can enhance your own work.

Really Easy to use

Didn’t take long at all to start using this app, a few minutes at bast. One of the easiest programs I’ve ever used, and the results is real cool! Enjoy.

Focus 2

Fun, easy and works!! Have used it on several photos now - results are great!!!!!!!! No problems at all - will be using a lot morel!!!

Very good

I really like this application. The tools are flexible and allow you to customize the blur effects in a lot of different ways. The vividness slider also does some things that are different than other apps and can be fun to play around with. I use Focus as sort of a last pass editor after running photos through other image editors. One thing though...the application refuses to maintain window size as you open new images and it really drives me nuts. Other apps from Macphun dont have this problem so its strange.

Fantastic Ap

I was skeptical, but I LOVE THIS AP. Makes otherwise ordinary photos look fantastic and totally professional. I highly recommend Focus 2 without hesitation.

FOCUS2

Powerful, useful, time saving and simply a great tool…..
